Biography
My name is Christine Singleton. I was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1973, and moved to Omaha, NE in 2004. After graduating high school in 1991, I decided not to attend college since I had no idea what I wanted to do. 16 years later, I enrolled at a local community college here in Nebraska. I'm currently working full time, and taking 2 night (or online) classes per quarter. I've just started my 5th quarter, and I'm loving it! The main areas I'm targeting are programming, web design, and database management.
In my spare time (which I don't have much of recently), I enjoy gaming, web design, and my car. I was introduced to video games at a very young age by my older cousins. My mechanical abilities must have been passed down from my father, who was always tinkering with cars. After buying my first computer in 2000, I got into online gaming. This is when I began setting up gaming servers, web sites, and discussion forums. It was a great place to begin learning. Soon after, I began upgrading my computer's hardware components, and by 2002 I was building my own computers. I currently maintain a car website, and my home here at ataraxy.org.
